Manhattan today has less neighborhood boundaries than in the past. Many of the new buildings are becoming family destinations on to themselves. The whole island has become very family friendly. Since 2000 according to US census there has been a baby boom in Manhattan. 1 out of every 20 Manhattanites is now a toddler between 1 – 5 years old. Many families have been moving to Tribeca, Greewhich Village, Chelsea and Harlem.
