Whats the most harrowing event that you have ever seen on television?
When I was young I remember the Aberfan Disaster very clearly, the huge pile of black coal slag which sild down that day and buried all those children alive will live in my memory forever, hardly a household in that village was not affected by that disaster, which was totally avoidable, the looks on the faces of the parents waiting for news, the frantic digging, my god it was the worst thing I have ever seen, and now as a parent it makes my blood freeze in my veins to think about how those poor children died, how do you ever get over something like that…
