Whats the most gruesome death youve ever read or heard about?
Here are some of the ones I have heard of: Hypatia was a notable woman from Alexandria. She was murdered by a Christian mob considering her a witch. They had her skin ripped off with oysters and clams etc. and then burned whatever remained while she was still alive. Another is: Valerian was a noble Roman Emperor who was subjected to many insults by his captors prior to his death. After some period Valerian was skinned alive and his skin was stuffed with straw and preserved as a trophy. Another one: Inalchuq was the Governor of Qtrar in the Khwarezmian Empire. Before his death he was captured by Mongols and molten silver was poured into his eyes, ears and throat. And Another: György Dózsa was captured in a battle he was forced to sit on a heated iron throne having a heated iron crown on his head and a heated sceptre in his hand.
