Whats the most dangerous illegal drug?
In my (much) younger days I took all sorts of drugs, and hung out with folks who did the same. In my experience the most dangerous of all was PCP (Phencycladine Hydrochloride). We called it “Angel Dust” or just “Dust”. It seems to have gone out of style, but I remember plenty of times when somebody who was “dusted out” would become violent and totally disconnected from reality. What made it especially dangerous is that they’d be just fine up to a certain threshold of consumption, and then they’d suddenly turn into raving maniacs: walking into walls, hitting anything that came near, etc. To make it worse, the PCP would deaden any sense of feeling, so they would fight like demons and feel nothing if you hit them. The cops hated having to deal with “dusters”, because it would take 4 or 5 cops to place some 160 pound kid under control.
