Whats the most dangerous bear out there?
Jessi, as for a distinct breed of bear it depends on who you ask. The grizzly is well known for its attacks on humans. Mainly this is in part to the proximity and the interaction of bears and humans. Bear attacks in national parks, in campgrounds, in remote resort areas ect. I’ve hunted black bear, brown bear in Russia, Kodiak’s in Alaska, and I’ve been on a elk hunt where a grizzly decided to visit. But for sheer ferocious attack by instinct the most dangerous has to be the polar bear. Everyone sees this nice warm fuzzy white teddy bear. Polars are consummate feeders at the top of the artic food chain. They have to hunt, they are limited in their foraging, and they will attack each other, wolves, humans, seal, walrus, and even a reported narwhal whale. Pound for pound the polar is the one to watch out for.
