Whats the molarity at the equivalance point of a strong acid strong base reaction.?
The molarity of the anion of the strong acid equals the molarity of the cation of the strong base. Also, for monoprotic strong acids (HCl) and monobasic strong bases (NaOH), the pH is 7. You have to be careful with “strong acids” like H2SO4. H2SO4 is a strong acid, but HSO4- is a weak acid. So a solution of Na2SO4 is strongly alkaline (phenolphthalein = red).
