Nearly all of Together Networks’ service area is now 56K enabled. For more information on 56K, please read our 56K Access page. Even if you’re using a 33.6 or 56K modem, maintaining a speed above 28.8k (or even above 26.4K) is sometimes tricky, since communication between the modems (yours and ours) and the phone lines affect transmission speed. Of course, if your modem only supports 14.4k baud, then our modems won’t be able to make the transmission of data move any faster than 14,400 kilobytes a second.
