An RJ45/CAT 5 Cable has these Properties: Impedance: 100 Ohms Max length of a segment: 100 meters/330 feet Frequency rating: 100MHz Capacitance 13.5 to 17 picofarads per foot Attenuation 23 to 67dB per 1000 feet Crosstalk 32 to 51 dB at 1000 feet As, you increase the length, the Cross-Talk & Attenuation increases hence, it is Recommecnded to use no more than 100m length cable without Repeater.
