Whats the Libraries website redesign plan?
A1. Steve is meeting with branch/department heads to get “feel” for what’s needed and to prepare docs to outline the “business model.” Policy committee will then make high-level decisions involving the vision, standards, and style guidelines associated with the libraries website. User analysis and usability study will follow to identify the audience and how best to serve them. 3 Mock-ups will be developed based on style guides and standards and a kick-off meeting will be arranged to get everyone up-to-speed on the progress of the entire project. As a starting point for Vignette migrations, Steve and Jasman are trying to identify a chunk of the libraries site that can be used as a model, which the rest of the branch (and other) sites will then follow.
