Whats the largest of the venomous snakes?
As far as length goes, the king cobra (Ophiophagus hannah) is clearly the longest venomous snake in the world. It has been known to reach lengths of 18 feet or more. Certain members of the Viperidae family are thicker and heavier, but the king cobra wears the “crown” in terms of length. The eastern diamondback (Crotalus adamanteus) is thought to be the heaviest of the venomous snakes.
