Whats the lamest excuse youve ever given for being late to school/work?
Traffic – just didn’t leave early enough b/c was running late – sometimes this was true – haven’t been late in a long time. didn’t have a watch with me – cell phone died – took long lunch one day but it was semi-working since I was having lunch w/ the person that had my job before me – was visiting in the area – we did talk about work. I’m usually early so it’s rare for me to be late. One time I was actually late b/c of traffic and weather. My supervisor didn’t believe me. I was not happy since I had a great track record of coming in early – working for free since I was hourly. Our hours were fixed for the week. I was only late 15 minutes. I’m usually a half hour early. It’s nice to get started when hardly anyone is there. I get more done. I just remembered – my car was acting up – my husband came home from work – the only problem with my car was that my purse was preventing the (P – R -N -D) from setting all the way into Drive.
