Whats the harm in building Golds Gym near a set of homes?
Next to a parking lot and a water basin, our property values would decrease. More importantly, the safety of our children would be at risk with vehicles driving in and out of a parking lot next to our backyards and a water basin so close to our homes. The parking lot would be secluded from view and could become a late-night hangout for teenagers from other neighborhoods. Criminals would be provided easy access to our homes from the parking lot hidden from the street. Traffic would increase on our small street where children are playing. And, finally, the Brickners expect Golds Gyms business hours to be 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The noise level of vehicles driving in and out would disrupt this quiet community.
