Having people say that we don’t make any decisions and that everything that we think is just something that our parents taught us. They wouldn’t question why kids whose parents are Christian might play Christian rock but they think that if our music reflects our family beliefs it is somehow brainwashing. Lynx wrote a new song about this issue called “Not A Problem” it is the 3rd track on the new CD The Path We Chose. The title of the CD is something Lynx also came up with as a response to people who think that kids our age have no idea about politics and no right to have an opinion on race and racial matters. The Path We Chose is a statement that it is OUR path and WE chose it not someone else. It also bothers us when people say that all we do is racial music or racial politics. We have really busy lives.
