The Global Address List is a list of people who are on the Austin Exchange. This list is updated and maintained by TRECS and ITS. There are non-people in the Global Address List as well. “Resources” are objects such as rooms, projectors, and laptops. There are also distribution lists within the Global list. These distribution lists are indicated by being bold-faced and also have a head on the left side of the name. “Special” lists are actually shared mailboxes. Sending an e-mail to a “Special” list will send an e-mail to one inbox that several people access.
