Whats the general opinion on material for a flat roof, is felt still best?

I have a flat roof and it has been a bit tricky. If you have no skylights in it, then you should be pretty set. Does it have any slope at all. Mine was flat but had the slightest slope which helped me out because the water would at least pick a direction to go. If you can, have a professional roofer install the roof. It’s expensive but at least you have someone to blame if something goes wrong. I ended up with leaks in mine where the edges of the different pieces met. That was fixed with something called 50 year caulk which was this clear caulk from Lowes. Generally if you can keep the number of seems down, it shouldn’t matter too much what you do the roof in. My flat roof actually had shingles glued down to it for a while and they worked for about 15 years. But then again, I did have the slightest slope, so that’s probably how they got away with it at my house. I would go with the other answer here, the ESD roof would be best.
