The HOLD Switch in the Personal CD Player prevents accidental selection of an unwanted function during Playback or Stop mode. When the HOLD Switch is at the “ON” position, no function button can be operated (except OPEN). When it’s at the “OFF” position, it allows the unit to return to normal operation.
