Whats the easiest way to upgrade to high speed internet access?
From my experience, the easiest way to upgrade to high-speed internet is to go with cable modem service. I have had both cable and DSL. Both times I have had cable modems installed, the cable company actually sent someone out to do the installation. So, there really was not much I had to do. Of the two times that I have had DSL installed, the first company sent someone out to set it up, but the second time the company just sent a self-install kit. The first time I had DSL we didn’t need any filters on the phone lines for voice communication. The second time we did. However, on the whole, the self-install was also not that difficult. The directions were really pretty clear. So, unless you have have absolutely no technical understanding, it you should be able to do it. So, if you want someone to do the setup for you, then go with cable. (Cable will also be faster, but more expensive.) If you think that you can do it your-self and don’t mind a somewhat slower connection/can’t afford cable
