The easiest, most efficient and least expensive way to remove any kind of wallpaper or border is as follows: 1. Get yourself an inexpensive scoring tool at your home hardware store. It looks like a rotary pizza cutter with spikes. 2. Run the tool all over the paper, every which way, making small holes in the paper. You don’t need to press hard. 3. Using a spray bottle (an old windex bottle works fine), fill it with BLUE windhsield washer fluid. No other color works. Spray this all over the scored paper. Wait 10 minutes. Don’t skip the waiting for it to work properly. 4. Spray a second time. Wait 5 minutes. 5. Easily peel off the paper in huge chunks. It works like a charm. Some people here will tell you to use fabric softener. Don’t! It’s slimy, hard to rinse off and it makes your new paint (if you’re planning on paintingafter) hard to stick to the wall.
