Whats the easiest way to promote a website?
The best way to get into the search engines, is to build a website that offers something of value. Google, Yahoo!, Bing and any other search engine has one thing they are trying to achieve for their users, and that is to bring the most relevant and high quality results up for their searches. The best way to provide value, would be for you to write as much unique and high quality web content as you possible can, and post that content on your site. Write articles and blog posts related to the teaching materials you are trying to sell, and post them on your site. Each page that you build is like a doorway into your site. The more pages that you have on your site, the more pages will get indexed in the search engines = more traffic. Additionally, you want to go out and look for relevant websites to link to your site. Going back to what I wrote above (nobody will link to your site, unless you have value). If you do these things, you will naturally get indexed into all of the search engines
