Whats the easiest and best way to remove small spots of latex paint from concrete?
Scrape off as much of the hardened paint as possible. Apply a poultice impregnated with a commercial paint remover for latex paint and let it stand for 20 to 30 minutes. A paint remover available in the form of a gel solvent would be best. Test a small area on a trial basis. Scrub the stain gently to loosen the paint film and wash off with water. Any remaining residue can be scrubbed off with scouring powder. If color has impregnated the surface, it usually can be treated with a diluted solution of hydrochloric or phosphoric acid. For removal of small spots of dried latex paint, a commercial product such as Motsenbocker’s Lift Off No. 3 may prove effective and would simplify the removal process.
