In future releases the NetBeans C/C++ Development Pack will become the platform foundation for the Sun Studio IDE. The Sun Studio IDE will then become the platform for advanced tools — including advanced debugging, performance analysis, and parallel application development (multithreaded, multiprocess, distributed).
