Whats the different between phpFoX and DZOIC HandShakes?
First off, HandShakes might have become “the big one”, prior to phpFoX, if they would have spent more time listening to their user base. They have a great script, but it lacked in terms of features. For example, originally the script did not come with an integrated forum and you had to shell out for IPB or vBulletin… Luckily, things have changed… a little. The Community Support is like a pebble amongst boulders – when it comes to comparing HandShakes forum support system with phpFoX. I truly think this is a big problem with HandShakes and, who knows, maybe this may change soo. Overall, this script, originally, had more overall functionality than the rest… I feel that they just took the growth a little too slow. Support is OK and the script is very good, but you might have some issues finding qualified people to help with customization, if you go looking for it.
