The Formaldehyde free one does not straighten the hair 100% it just defrizzes and relax’s the curl leaving the hair shiny, soft, highly conditioned, however takes the same amount of time to perform and cost, and equally is as nice, it just doesn’t have any formaldehyde for those who are concerned. It also may only last 6 to 8 weeks sometimes up to 12 weeks depending on the home care.
