Whats the difference in laminating pouches at 250 vs 160 microns?

250 micron is thicker & therefore firmer after lamination. It’s mainly used where some sort of physical strength is needed like menu cards etc. 160 micron is thinner and isn’t as strong. Used where protection is needed rather than strength. 160 is probably better for photographs as it needs less heat to fix. Be careful though, some photos will blister when fed through a laminator.
