What’s the difference between wall tile and floor tile?
Wall tiles are less dense and not suitable for floor installation, although denser floor tiles may be used on walls if desired. Wall tiles tend to be rectangular, and thinner than floor tiles. Floor tiles are almost always square, although some lines offer other dimensions. Also, wall tiles more often have a higher-gloss finish than floor tiles.
