Whats the difference between Vista Basic and Vista Premium?
It depends on what you would use your computer for. Quite frankly, I’m not impressed by Vista and have gone back to using Windows XP. To me the only difference between the Home Basic and the Premium package is about $40. I didn’t see any features of the higher end that were justification of the higher price nor did I think I would ever use those features. As a computer technician, I find Vista to be overpriced, cumbersome, and more difficult to navigate overall than Windows XP. So, I think the home basic package would be sufficient for your average home user.
