Virtual Numbers are just like any phone number you’ve ever dialed — dial the number, and it rings! Extension Numbers are like the extensions most people use at their office. They are regular phone numbers with a 5 digit extension (212-555-5555 ext. 53100). Virtual Numbers are normal phone numbers with no extensions. When callers dial your Virtual Number they do not need to enter an extension and calls are immediately connected to your forwarding number. Virtual Numbers can be added to your account for a small monthly fee.
