Whats the difference between “vacate” and “quit”?

I think vacate would be better. “Quit” the premises isn’t the way it’s said nowadays for the average person.

Vacate is to take some time off, then return. (In a job.) However, vacating your apartment means to leave entirely. Quit means you aren’t coming back, or aren’t continuing. I don’t have any examples, but you don’t need like…an official “document.” You could write it on a napkin! Just state when you are leaving. You don’t have to include anything else.

Vacate is like to leave a building or apartment. Quitting is for a job or position. Depends on what your wanting to give a notice for.
