Whats the difference between U ID Number and Directory ID?
Directory ID is generally shorter and easier to remember than the U ID Number. It can be used in conjunction with a Directory password to access systems while you are an active student or employee. After you have left the University, your Directory ID can be reused, depending on your status, but your U ID Number stays with you for life. Directory ID is alphanumeric and U ID Number is numeric.
