A cat-back exhaust system replaces everything from the rear catalytic convertor out to the tailpipe (ie: the midpipe and the exhaust cannister). A turbo-back exhaust would replace everything from the outlet side of the turbo to the tailpipe (ie: the downpipe, midpipe, and cannister).
