Whats the difference between tights, pantyhose, leggings, and stockings?
Leggings – Thicker materiel generally not see though at all. Normally looking like footless tights or carpi tights Tights – Thicker than pantyhose and sometimes see throughish (depending upon the weight of the material). Often worn by dancers and sometimes at the gym. Not as thick as their companion leotards. These can be footless, footed, or convertible (hole in the sole for footed or footless). these cover your whole legs. In euroup pantyhose are often called tights. Stockings – nylons or just the leg part of the pantyhose. You need the “stay up” kind or garters to keep them from falling down the legs.
