Whats the difference between Tier I and Tier II?

The “Comparison Methodology” is used for both Tier I and Tier II. The difference is that Tier I rates apply to 95% of our clients. Tier II rates are generally a 5% greater discount. Tier II is marketed under the name and logo “MISSOURI+” and is primarily designed to be used for three main types of our clients: 1. Group Health: for use with smaller insurance companies who are trying to compete with Blue Cross, United, and Cigna-sized companies (we want to help them be competitive); 2. Worker’s Comp: for use with work comp clients who have established an “above average ability to steer patients within network” (we find these situations fairly often with large employers and state or county governments); 3. Medicare Advantage: for use with our Medicare Advantage Clients and the eligible covered lives therein.
