Whats the difference between this pen and the David Allen Expandable Pen?
Both the David Allen Expandable Pen and the Rotring Mini Esprit Expandable Pen are exceptional quality. They are lightweight, yet high-quality to stand the test of time and your heavy use. The Rotring version was the original one included with our wallets. However, it was recently discontinued by the manufacturer. We designed the David Allen version to serve as a comparable replacement to the Rotring when the time comes that the Rotring is no longer available. Both use the Schmidt D1 refill. We think you will be happy with either version.
