Whats the difference between the xbox hdmi cable and the component cable?
The first guy is kind of confusing. 720p and 1080p are considered high definition televisions. You need a cable that can support the data that runs through the cable at a high rate. In other words, if you buy the hdmi cable and hook it up to your television and xbox360 it will make the colors look better and graphics overall. Hdmi is made to combine sound and video all in one to make an incredible listening experience as well as a visual one. Bottom line, component is fine for your tv, but if you want crisper whites and blacks and even colors in general than get the hdmi cable.
