Whats the difference between the xbox 360 arcade and the xbox 360 pro?

Well the obvious part is the Xbox 360 Arcade does not include a hard drive at all. It instead comes with a Memory Unit or 512MB of built-in Memory. Going on to technical stuff…. The Xbox 360 Arcade comes with the Lite-On DVD drive instead of the Samsung, Hitachi, or BenQ drives on the Xbox 360 Pro (varies). Some models of the Lite-On drive are modabble with iXtreme LT which allows you to play in Xbox LIVE without getting banned for using a modified console. It requires patching the game though. Other than that there’s no other difference. Both use the same internals (excluding die size of the processor and mainboard model…. If you wanna get into that ask it in another question). They’re both the same speed. Also the Xbox 360 Arcade’s Disc Drive is white while the one on the Pro’s is Silver. Need help?
