Whats the difference between the WRX and the WRX STI?

STi has a 6 speed manual, no automatic option. WRX is auto or 5 speed manual. STi has a driver control center differential, you can control the power split front to rear yourself or you can set it for the surface. WRX doesn’t have either, it’s just a set center differential. STi has a bigger turbo, larger top mount intercooler, but also adds a water sprayer on the intercooler. STi has a slightly lower and stiffer suspension, aluminum control arms instead of stamped steel like the WRX. STi has a larger rear wing, larger front air dam and splitter, bigger, stickier tires on lighter weight wheels. STi has 3 limited slip differentials including the adjustable center mentioned before, WRX has 2 non-adjustable. STi has different gauges, different seats, lighter weight roof and hood.
