The BEFVP41 has greater VPN capability. It can do up to 70 VPN tunnels, while the BEFSX41 can do up to 2 VPN tunnels. On the other hand, the BEFSX41 features a Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall, which the BEFVP41 does not have.
