Whats the difference between the postconf command that ships with Postfix and the PostConf application?
The postconf command is a debugging utility that ships with the Postfix MTA. It has many uses, all of which are explained in the postconf manual page. PostConf software and appliances share the same name, however, PostConf is a user-friendly web front-end to these command-line utilities. No knowledge of Postfix or SMTP are required to setup and manage a PostConf email server.
