Whats the difference between the On Demand metered units that you market compared to regular solid state timer models?
A demand softener only regenerates when you use the pre-set amount of water to cause it to regenerate. The so called “solid state” timer unit will regenerate at a pre-set number of days, generally every 1,2,3,4,6 or 12 days with a 12 day timer unit. These units regenerate every time at their pre-set day no matter how much water has been used! or run out of soft water before they can regenerate do to excessive water usage at time when you have company, fill a pool etc.. The savings is in wasted salt and water. An “On Demand” softener, like we market, makes a BIG difference! Some more info about Quality Water Treatment Softeners!!
