Whats the difference between the on-campus self-paced courses and the online self-paced courses?
The similarities include the schedule. They are both open-entry, open-exit, and self-paced. Both are 5 units and require a minimum of 5 hours per week attendance. Final exams for both are given on-campus in the Math Center. The similarities end there. The on-campus courses require the purchase of a MyMathLab bundle with optional textbook; the online courses require the purchase of a Content On Demand access code (not MyMathLab). The orientation for the on-campus courses is on campus; the orientation for the online courses in the online Blackboard Visat course followed by a required quiz. The on-campus students study Monday through Friday in the Math Center or using their online materials at home; The online students have 24/7 access online and may use the Math Center resources as well.
