Whats the difference between the new ticket — the Magic Your Way Base Ticket and the previous Park Hopper Ticket?
The advantage of Disneys new ticket structure is flexibility. Unlike Disneys Park Hopper tickets, the new Magic Your Way Base Ticket is available in a variety of increments from 1 to 7 days whereas Disneys Park Hopper tickets are generally only available for 4 days or more. In the past, many guests interested in 1-, 2- or 3-day tickets did not have an option for a Park Hopper ticket. In addition, the per-day price of the Magic Your Way Base Ticket is less expensive than the per-day cost of Disneys Park Hopper pass (ex: $54.75 per day for a 4-day Park Hopper vs. $46.25 per day for the Magic Your Way Base Ticket). The Magic Your Way Base Ticket does not include the ability to visit multiple parks on the same day like Disneys Park Hopper passes did and will expire 14 days from first use thus the lower price point. This lower priced ticket is ideal for guests who do not want to visit multiple parks in the same day and who dont plan to save days for a future visit.
