Whats the difference between the new Disney tickets – the Magic Your Way Base Ticket and the previous Park Hopper Ticket?
The advantage of Disney’s new ticket structure is flexibility. Unlike Disney’s Park Hopper tickets, the new Magic Your Way Base Ticket is available in a variety of increments from 1 to 7 days whereas Disney’s Park Hopper tickets are generally only available for 4 days or more. In the past, many guests interested in 1-, 2- or 3-day tickets did not have an option for a Park Hopper ticket. In addition, the per-day price of the Magic Your Way Base Ticket is less expensive than the per-day cost of Disney’s Park Hopper pass (ex: $54.75 per day for a 4-day Park Hopper vs. $46.25 per day for the Magic Your Way Base Ticket). The Magic Your Way Base Ticket does not include the ability to visit multiple parks on the same day like Disney’s Park Hopper passes did and will expire 14 days from first use thus the lower price point.
