Whats the difference between the main page and the blog plage?
The main page is the first thing seen when a user visits soggypickle. We’ve done our best to put a variety of the content we have to offer on the main page. As you’ve probably noticed, the left column lists blog entries, limiting the body text to 1,000 characters. If a post is over 1,000 characters, the user can click the Read more… link or on the title of the post to view it in its entirety. The right column currently shows random blog entries, older blog entries, and banner ads (we have to try and make money some how). We are constantly tweaking the content in this column to better fit you, our viewer. The blog page, unlike the main page, shows the entire post. If a post is 5,236 characters, all characters are shown. There is no cut off. The titles can still be clicked on to view only the selected post (which is useful when posting a link on another site or bookmarking an article). We feel some users would rather browse the site this way opposed to viewing only excerpts from posts,
