Whats the difference between the Human Services Finder and other directories ?

0

Human Services Finder is a directory of all human services (health, housing, family and community based services) with a focus on finding services. It provides both high-level information as well as very detailed assessment and referral related information. The Finder provides a larger number of search options including searches by issue, proximity, availability, service focus (ie. for youth), access etc and provides mapping functionality. Through the Data Maintenance Tool, the Finder allows organisations to directly update their own information whenever it changes. Other directories may provide fewer search options or return lists of organisations instead of services. However their scope may be broader than just ‘human services’.
