Whats the difference between the HDMI and HD Component Cable for Xbox 360?
The advantage of HDMI is that it has digital video and audio all in one cable, while component cables uses 5 plugs for analog video and audio. If you have a 720p/1080i TV, you can use either one. There’s practically no difference between the two. If you have 1080p, the picture might look better using HDMI, but it’s not a huge difference. You can go with either one. It’s just personal preference. If you don’t want the cables getting tangled, then go HDMI.
