Whats the difference between the EXO and VX helmet models?
The EXO-400, 900 and VX-24, 14 shells are made from injection polycarbonate–a composite of several modern plastics which are melted and shot into a mold to make the shell. The EXO-700, and VX-17 are made from hand-layered fiberglass and Kevlar which are placed in a mold heated to 120 degrees Celsius until the resin hardens. The fiberglass helmets have more expensive sub-materials and also take more labor to make thus cost more.
