Whats the difference between the EXO-700 and EXO-400?
The 400 shells are made from injection polycarbonate–a composite of several modern plastics which are melted and shot into a mold to make the shell. The 700s are made from hand-layered fiberglass and Kevlar which are placed in a mold heated to 120 degrees Celsius until the resin hardens. The fiberglass helmets have more expensive sub-materials and also take more labor to make thus cost more.
