Whats the difference between the BH Campaign Plan and the BH Surveillance Plan?
▲ The BH Surveillance Plan is just one piece of the BH Campaign Plan which encompasses a broad range of topics intended to help move the community toward recovery, to include: • Health promotion/ risk reduction/ suicide prevention (such as the Warrior Resiliency Campus) • health services (such as 1-on-1 screenings for those most at-risk from the event) • Behavioral health (BH) surveillance (such as evaluating the recovery status of the overall community) The BH Surveillance Plan focuses on obtaining feedback from the identified Fort Hood populations (e.g., soldiers, military families, Fort Hood employees) to see how well the community recovery is progressing. • Community and strategic engagements (such as holding town hall meetings) • Outreach and education (such as providing training to senior leaders).
