What’s the difference between the Associate of Applied Science Degree and the Post-Degree Professional Certificate?
The Post-Degree Professional Certificate is for students who already have an associate, bachelor or higher degree and want to become licensed massotherapists. It is an intense course of study that can be completed in three semesters, after prerequisite (core) courses are completed. The Associate of Applied Science Degree is a two-year college degree program. To be eligible, you must have graduated from an accredited high school in the United States or have scored a 45 or better on the General Education Development test (GED) or GED equivalent, as evaluated by the Ohio Department of Education. If you have taken some college credit courses, but have not yet achieved a degree, you are eligible for the Associate of Applied Science Degree Program (but not for the post-degree certificate). If your college courses were taken at an institution other than Tri-C, you must send one copy of your official transcript to the Admissions and Records office and a second copy to the Massotherapy Departme
