What’s the difference between the archive programme on the website and the new archive programmes on 4Extra?
Desert Island Discs – Revisted are programmes from the archive which we’ve grouped together in themed series and updated with a new introduction from Kirsty Young. She’ll update listeners on the castaway’s life since broadcast and where possible, introduce an example of their work to set the programme in context. These updated programmes will be available to listen to via the 4Extra website & via the Castaway page of the Desert Island Discs website but won’t be available as podcasts.
